Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board students soaked in a manufacturing skills tour experience held last month from schools in Clinton and Stratford.

Students in grade 11 and 12 manufacturing classes at St Anne’s and St Michael toured facilities at Gnutti Carlo Ltd in Huron Park as well as TG Minto in Palmerston from October 21st-25th.

Students were shown the skill sets needed for success as CNC Machine Operators, Millwrights, Tool and Die Makers, Electricians and General Machinists.

The school board says students are able to learn through these partnerships with companies such as Gnutti Carlo and TG Minto as well as many other organizations of the Huron Manufacturers Association.
