All continues to take shape for Goderich’s Coldest Night of the Year to support the Huron Homelessness Initiative.
This year, the Coldest Night Walk will take place on February 22nd and locally has a goal of $135,000 and is already well on its way of being reached.
The Huron Homelessness Initiative includes program such as a shelter for women and children escaping violence, shelter support fro youth and more.
Bernice Glenn, part of the Bernie’s Bunch Team for Coldest Night of the Year says it doesn’t matter what team you’re supporting, its all about one cause.
“We are all in it together, we’re all putting Goderich on the map. We will prove that yes we are great in Goderich and we support the unignoreable issues that are faced everyday” said Glenn.
With the goal of $135,000, Goderich is already over $93,000 raised leading up to walk in 2 weeks.
