Arran-Elderslie Resident Loses $35,000 in Crypto Scam

Police are looking into a fraud case where the victim lost money in a cryptocurrency scam.

On February 4th South Bruce OPP were called to an address in Arran-Elderslie.

Investigation found over the course of a year, the victim made a series of transactions amounting to $35,000.

The victim found the supposed investment company from an online ad.

Once the victim became suspicious and declined sending more funds, he found he was locked out of his account.
