The Bluewater District School Board has named AJ Keene as the newest Director of Education.
Keene will take on the role as of August 18th, lining up with the retirement of Lori Wilder.
AJ comes to Bluewater with nearly three decades of serving in education most recently as the Superintendent of Education with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board.
Keene says he is particularly drawn to the diverse geographic and cultural landscape of Grey and Bruce, including its First Nation communities.
AJ holds a Master in Education with a focus in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning from the University of Toronto and a graduate of Lakehead University with a Bachelor in Education and University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Science.
