Bruce County residents are being encouraged to drop off their household hazardous waste at a collection event on May 31st.
Taking place at the Bruce County Transportation Yard in Walkerton from 8am-1pm this event acts as a chance for residents to clear out hazardous material from your home, garage or basement.
Various materials include paints and stains, propane tanks, used oil, batteries, antifreeze, oil filters and household cleaners.
Commercial, industrial and agricultural waste will not be collected.
