Grey County will be seeing $500,000 from a provincial investment for a community paramedicine program and operations.
The county had initially received funding for the program in 2021 for three years with a two year extension given in 2024.
Grey County Warden Andrea Matrosovs during a recent county council meeting said Community Paramedicine for Long Term Care has been a tremendous asset for Grey County residents for several years and the benefits of the program are numerous and invaluable.
The program was launched in 2020 with Grey County being one of the first participating municipalities.
