The Paisley and District Fire Department is urging driver to always pull over when emergency vehicles are approaching with lights flashing.
Last week the fire department says while responding to call there were several vehicles who didn’t stop and pull over with some oncoming traffic also failing to yield.
The fire department says moving over is a simple action which can save a life as every second during an emergency counts.
