The province is putting up over $111,000 to support Grey Highlands and Northern Bruce Peninsula to help cover costs due to a weather event last March.
An ice storm on March 28th swept across the area which caused significant damage across many communities, including in Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound.
Grey Highlands will see $36,000 and $75,000 being given to Northern Bruce Peninsula.
Nearly 400,000 homes and businesses without power across central and eastern Ontario.
In Grey Highlands, the storm damaged trees and caused widespread and in some cases prolonged power outages.
