Kincardine Deputy Mayor Andrea Clarke is taking a role as a part time Deputy Judge.
While taking on this role, as per the Municipal Act, she can no longer serve as Deputy Mayor or be on council who has tendered her resignation.
The Municipality in a release say Clarke has served the community with dedication, integrity and a deep commitment to public service.
During her time, Deputy Mayor Clarke played a key role in advancing initiatives which strengthened community engagement, improved accessibility and supported a more inclusive environment for residents and visitors alike.
Clarke writing over social media while her role may change, her commitment does not and will continue to support, uplift and to pray for those who led the community.
