Prime Minster Mark Carney has won a majority government after sweeping the byelections with 3 Liberal wins.
The Carney government coming off a handful of floor crossings needed only one win in the byelection which was projected.
Carney did not immediate respond to the form of majority government other than taking to social media to welcome his new MP’s.
The last time there was a majority government in Ottawa was in 2015 when Trudeau was first elected but was bumped down to a minority following the 2019 election.
