The Municipality of Kincardine has now marked 14 days since the start of the aeration system as part of the Lagoon Sludge Removal project.
As of Tuesday, the system continues to operate with both blowers online and odour conditions remain good with no significant odour concerns.
Cooler temperatures coming in has also lowered water temperatures by about 3 degrees and as such increases dissolved oxygen levels.
The municipality has engaged the aeration system supplier to discuss results and better understand why DO levels have remained low and are reviewing lab data.
