Brightshores Health System has announced the introduction of the Minimally Invasive ThuLEP Prostate Surgery becoming the second hospital in Ontario to offer the advanced treatment option.
The procedure addresses enlarged prostates, medically known as Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, a condition which affects a significant portion of men during their lifetime.
Dr. Geoff Wignall, a Brightshores Urologist says this will result in shorter hospital stays, better recovery times and superior outcomes for patients.
