The Federal and Provincial Governments have provided $6.4 million dollars to help create 20 affordable housing units in South Huron.

The new development at 134 Sanders Street in Exeter, is part of a larger $46 million dollar Canada-Ontario Community Housing Initiative which will create 267 affordable housing units across the Province.

The two-story, 1-bedroom per unit apartment building will offer each future resident their own kitchen, bathroom and living room in each unit as well as a common space, on-site laundry and elevator.

The design also includes 7 barrier free units.
