There will be a national test of Canada’s emergency Alert Ready system next week across Ontario.
Alert Ready is designed to deliver life saving alerts to Canadians including AMBER alerts, tornadoes, flooding and fires.
Last year the Alert Ready system had 1086 emergency alerts in Canada. Across the province there will be a system test on May 15th at 12:55pm.
The system test will be run on television, radio and wireless devices.
