AMDSB Kicking Off Annual Feast Celebrating Indigenous Culture

The Avon Maitland District School Board is kicking off the 4^th Annual Feast in Seaforth helping celebrate Indigenous Culture.

This free community celebration On October 5^th runs from 12:30-4:30pm and features an afternoon of food, drumming, singing, cultural teachings and hands on workshops.

There will be guest speakers, feature cash only vendors, prizes and the chance to learn directly from Knowledge Carriers and members of the Indigenous Education Team.

Matt Baker, Indigenous Education Lead says they’re inviting the community to celebrate Indigenous culture and come together in the spirit of learning, connection and celebration.
