A local donor who wishes to remain anonymous has given $100,000 to the the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Bring Tom to Town campaign.
The recent donation brings the fundraising total to just over $2,850,000, leaving them just $150,000 shy of the $3 million campaign goal.
Board Chair Stacey Catalano says staff are grateful for the support the Saugeen Shores community has given to bringing a CT scanner home.
Those looking to support the campaign can visit the website or register for the Gran Fondo Lake Huron fundraising cycle that will take place Sunday August 21.
