The Grey Bruce OPP have released the stats for their August Long Weekend patrols, laying 75 charges against motorists in the area.
There were 47 speeding charges levied, along with three stunt driving charges, two impaired driving charges and several other provincial offences.
Police say the focus of this year’s campaign was the move over law, requiring drivers to slow down and pull over for an emergency vehicle, but none of those charges were laid.
