An armed and dangerous suspect at large who was eventually arrested has led to an SIU investigation.
There was a level of concern across Huron County on Thursday when police notified the public of a suspect believed to be armed roaming the area after an armed carjacking.
At around 10pm on April 2nd, South Bruce OPP located the suspect involved in a crash who was arrested without incident.
Another suspect was arrested prior to an alert going out on the armed individual.
The suspect in the crash was taken to hospital with injuries sustained during the incident which has prompted the SIU to invoke its mandate and launch investigation. Updates will be provided as they are made available.
