The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie approved funding recently to support local businesses through a variety of improvement grants.
The $20,000 in funding will see businesses and property owners in the downtown areas of Chesley, Paisley, Tara and Allenford able to enhance their storefronts and buildings in 2025.
The grants focus on four key areas of façade improvements, perpendicular signage, awning grants and fascia signage.
The funding is part of a collaboration with Bruce County’s established “Spruce the Bruce” program.
It covers 1/3 of eligible project costs with additional support coming from the county’s program to match the contribution.
The opening date for the program is February 1st.
