A 40 year old is facing charges after a vehicle theft in Southampton.

On October 16th Saugeen Shores Police received a report of a vehicle theft in progress in the area of Adelaide Street.

The complainant heard commotion outside their home and found an unknown man pinned under a motorcycle which had been moved from where it was parked.

Upon being found, the suspect fled on foot through neighbouring yards.

Police found a man matching the description provided in a shed on Huron Street.

The 40 year old has been charged with two counts of Mischief, Break and Enter, Disguise with Intent and Resisting an Officer.

The accused was given a future court date.
