There is no better time than now to consider joining a local group and offering help to the community.
The Atwood Lions are looking to grow and have more members join, inviting residents out for a round of golf and learn more about the club.
The Lions Membership Golf Day will be taking place this Sunday at the Wingham Golf & Curling Club.
Mike McCourt from the Atwood Lions says its an afternoon for all to attend and learn more.
“A special welcome for prospective new members, people who want to know more about the Lions and find out how they can get involved. It should be a fun tournament” said McCourt.
Prospect members, who are sponsored by a member, will play for free. Prizes and a dinner will follow the 9 hole round of golf.
