United Way Bruce Grey continues to roll out backpacks as part of the annual backpack program as school starts up next week.
United Way says so far 2087 backpacks have been put together with 2099 requests coming in.
United Way has also sent their thanks to those who have showed their support including with their Stuff the Bus events in Hanover and Port Elgin.
Those who haven’t signed up for a backpack but would like one are asked to reach out to United Way and arrange for pickup in Owen Sound.
