The third Bayfield Walkabout gets underway this Saturday afternoon, as teams work their way through Main Street businesses to support a good cause.
Participants will visit eight different venues, collecting a playing card from each and trying to assemble the best poker hand possible.
The walkabout runs Dec. 17, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Prizes will be drawn at Captain Harry’s at 8 p.m. that night.
There’s a $5 entry for all participants that will be donated to local charities.
Each venue will also be collecting donations cash, food, and new toys that the Lions Club will help distribute for the holidays.
