Two local charities benefited from generous donations from the Bervie Women’s Institute recently.
The Kincardine’s Women’s House saw the donation of a 40″ Smart Television, with accompanying popcorn and a movie.
The second was a donation to the Bruce County District Women’s Institute Scholarship Fund of $5,000.
The Scholarship awards 2 students each year froM Bruce County towards their post secondary studies. Applications are accepted until the end of March.
The Bervie Women’s Institute is open for any woman to join. Meetings are being held virtually currently due to the pandemic.
