Police Interrupt Break-In In Progress at a Business in Bluewater

Employee caught Suspect Leaving Business and Fleeing in a Vehicle

Huron County OPP have charged a South Huron resident with break-in and theft charges after they were caught breaking into a Bluewater Business at the end of November.

An employee arriving at the business just before 6:30am on November 27th noticed a suspect running out of the store and taking off in a vehicle. After checking the store the workers realized they had gotten away with a quantity of cash and containers of ice cream.

Police were able to identify the suspect and made an arrest of the suspect on December 1st.

A 40 year old male of South Huron has been charged with breaking and entering, theft under $5,000 and failing to comply with a probation order.
