Biker who broke Port Elgin dog park sign charged

Saugeen Shores Police charged an Alberta man who went barking up the wrong tree with his dirt bike last month.

On Oct. 14 around 6 p.m., police responded to a report of a collision near the Port Elgin Dog Park. Investigation revealed that the man operating a dirt bike had driven through the dog park sign and struck a parked vehicle.

The driver was transported to local hospital.

As a result a 30-year-old male has been charged with dangerous operation of a conveyance. He was released with a future court date.
