Councillor for the Municipality of Bluewater introduced a Notice of Motion at a recent Council Meeting to lower the speed limits within the village of Bayfield.
Councillor Bill Whetstone said in the written notice that he wanted council to direct staff to bring back a report on the feasibility of lowering the limit to 30 km.
The speed limit within the village is currently 50 km per hour.
Currently there are no sidewalks in the Village.
