With a return to in-class learning just days away, the Bluewater District School Board is striving for a safe and smooth transition back to school.

To achieve this, the board is following guidelines established by Grey Bruce Public Health and the Ministry of Education.

These include mandatory masking indoors at school and on school buses for Grades 1 to 12 students and all staff.

During the first two weeks of school, all students and staff will have to confirm each day they have completed their self-screening. Grades 4 to 12 students will do this verbally with their teacher.

Lori Wilder, Director of Education, reminds parents and guardians while most students will be returning in-person, the board will provide remote learning for families who have chosen this option.
