Blyth Festival Artistic Director Gil Garratt announced yesterday that the Festival is cancelling the entire run of their third show of “The Waltz”.

The show by Marie Beath Badian was impacted by covid-19 spreading in the company. The rehearsals for the production had already been delayed twice.

The show has been in the works since 2018 when it was commissioned as a sequel to Badian’s hit “Prairie Nurse”.

The Blyth Festival is currently working on contacting all ticket buyers of the play.

If you have purchased tickets to “The Waltz” they advise to be patient as they will soon call to sort out the purchaser’s options.
