The Bluewater Recycling Association is reminding homeowners if they’re moving to not take their wheelie bins with them.
The BRA says many residents believe the cost paid to the municipality is for their bins when its actually set and charged by the municipality you live in for collection service.
The bins are the property of the BRA and should be left at previous home as they should be a bin at your new property.
The BRA also asks to take care of the bins as if they were your own property and if you have any issues with your container to contact them to have a repairman service it.
There is no cost for repairs due to regular use.
