Brampton driver charged after Single Vehicle Collision on Bluewater Highway Last Month

The 22-year-old-maler failed a roadside screening test and faces charges of operation while impaired, and impaired 80 plus.

The Huron County OPP have charged a driver from Brampton after they were called to a single vehicle collision on Bluewater Highway last month.

Officers, along with Lampton Fire and Lambton EMS found the vehicle in a ditch just before 8pm near Turnbull’s Road.

The lone driver was located inside the vehicle and safely removed.

The driver failed a roadside screening test and was placed under arrest.

Subsequent tests resulted in the 22-year-old-male facing charges of operation while impaired, 80 plus.

Their vehicle has been impounded and their license suspended for 90 days.

They are set for an appearance in a Goderich court next month to answer to the charge.
