Brockton council is backing their support for court security.
Council has agreed to cover half of the remaining costs for prisoner transfer and security at the Walkerton court.
Last year Brockton spent over $150,000 for court security with staff saying this year the cost would be near $250,000 mainly due to the rising OPP costs.
This will be done once funding from a provincial grant comes in.
