Brockton Mourning Former Councilor John “Jack” Riley

The Municipality of Brockton is in mourning following the passing of John “Jack” Riley.

John served in council for over 15 years as the former Reeve of the Township of Greenock and a member of Bruce County council from 1986-1993.

Riley also served in Brockton council from 1999-2006. Riley was a strong advocate for the agricultural community who received the Bruce County Federation of Agriculture’s Tommy Cooper Award in 2009 for his contributions to agriculture and rural living.

Brockton has lowered the municipal flag to half mast in memorial.
