Bruce County is inviting all to take part in the Adopt-a-Highway Program this season.
The program is a community driven initiative to help keep County roads clean.
The program offers a way for those to contribute to a cleaner, healthier environment by removing litter from roadways.
So far over 300 kilometers of the County road network has been adopted. Andrew Beumer, Environmental Services Manager says thanks to dedicated volunteers, we’re making a visible difference one stretch of road at a time.
Those interested in adopting a highway are asked to contact the Transportation and Environmental Services Department.
