Bruce County has adopted its new official plan, outlining growth and development across the County until 2046.
The new plan replaces the previous which was adopted in 1997 that underwent an update in 2010.
Warden Luke Charbonneau says adopting the new plan was a lengthy process to apply provincial direction in a way which ensures reflection of community values across the entire county.
The official plan helps provide policies and higher level direction for communities that have more detailed official plans for their local area.
