Bruce County has approved the 2026 Capital and Operating budget.
The budget was approved during a meeting last week with a final by law being adopting at county council on December 18th.
The budget includes $207 million in expenditures with $75.9 million from property tax levies or a 4.37% increase for 2026 with 2.5 per cent of that dedicated to replacing aging infrastructure assets.
Bruce County Warden Luke Charbonneau says this is a responsible step forward in realizing the strategic plan for Bruce County’s continued prosperity.
