Bruce County Blues holding event Sunday at the Bruce on Sunday

The event raises funds for the “Blues in the Schools Program” which brings blues music to elementary & high schools free-of-charge.

This Sunday Bruce County Blues prepares to open its 2023/24 season with a performance on Sunday in association with the Bruce Restaurant in Downtown Kincardine.

The show features a performer from California, Alastair Greene and Chris Antonik from Toronto.

Marilyn Clarke, President of Bruce County Blues speaks to what the audience is in store for.

“Allistair is a blues rock guitarist. He has performed with Eric Burdon, Walter Trout, Coco Montoya, Savoy Brown, John Nemeth and Debbie Davis. Chris Antonik, from Toronto, is another great blues guitarist. He performed at the Bruce a few years back.”

The event raises funds for the “Blues in the Schools Program”.

It is an important component of the Blues County Blues mandate that brings blues music to elementary & high schools free-of-charge.

Tickets to the show Sunday are $25 for Bruce County Blues members and $30 otherwise.
