Bruce County Paramedics issued thanks today to the ten Bruce County District Women’s Institute Branches & the Kincardine Sunset Quilters for their generous donation of 41 pediatric support bags.

Each bag contains a knitted or quilted blanket, a teddy bear, and a children’s book. The bags have been distributed to Paramedic Service Stations across Bruce County and will be available in ambulances for pediatric-related calls.

The donation follows a similar gift in March by the Bervie Women’s Institute of 32  fidget muffs & quilts to support Alzheimer’s and dementia patients served by the Paramedic Services.

Bruce County Warden Janice Jackson says that the generous donation supports our communities and their littlest residents that receive care from Bruce County Paramedics.
