Bruce County holding Household Hazardous Waste Event on May 6th in Southampton

The event at the Works Yard from 8 am to 1pm allows residents of the County to drop off household hazardous waste including paints & stains, propane tanks, used oil, aerosols, batteries, fluorescent lights, fuels and more.

Bruce County is holding a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event this Saturday at the Southampton Works Yard at 429 Peel Street.

The event from 8 am to 1pm allows residents of the County to drop off household hazardous waste including paints & stains, propane tanks, used oil, aerosols, batteries, fluorescent lights, fuels and more.

Only containers of 30 litres or less will be accepted.

Waste must be received in containers that can be disposed of.

Containers will not be emptied and returned.

Those attending in the event must remain in their vehicles with waste materials in their open trunk only for unloading.
