Bruce County is holding a Household Hazardous Waste Collection next weekend.
Taking place at the Southampton Works Yard on May 3rd, this gives residents the chance to clean out any hazardous materials from their home and make sure its handled properly.
Some household waste materials include paints and stains, propane tanks, batteries, antifreeze, oil filters, fuel, pesticides and pool chemicals.
Commercial, agricultural and industrial waste will not be accepted.
The waste collection event runs from 8am-1pm.
