The Bruce County Libraries are going to be carrying memory care kits at their branches.
Each kit will contain carefully chosen activities and books that are meant to be meaningful, stimulating, as well as enjoyable for those living with dementia and their caregivers.
There will be six different themes: Sports and Entertainment, the Great Outdoors, a Little Bit of Everything, Transportation, Animals, and Interesting People.
Memory care kits are now available to anyone with a Bruce County library card.
It was officially launched today (TUE) as part of World Alzheimer’s Day.
