Huron Residential Hospice Telethon was a Great Success Last Week

The Huron Residential Hospice announced today that their There’s No Place Like Home Telethon was a great success last week.

On Thursday September 16th the Hospice along with Faux Pop Media in Goderich broadcast their telethon featuring the best of Huron County entertainment.

The event raised a total of $84,162 once all donations were counted. Hosts for the night were Blyth Festival’s Gil Garratt and Huron Bruce MP Ben Lobb.

Funds raised during the telethon go to support the Huron Hospice which has supported over 300 families in Huron County on their end of life journey each year.

There is no cost for the services at the Huron Hospice for those that stay there.

Half of the revenue that the Hospice needs annual is donated by the community.
