The Bruce County Museum is inviting the public to take part in a community art quilt project to honour Black History Month.
Taking place February 28th the museum is celebrating with a special community art initiative led by renowned artist, author and President’s Poet Nadine Williams.
Participants can help shape the creative direction of a large community quilt by exploring their own experiences and developing an individual 8.5 by 11 inch art tile.
Participants can also contribute ideas for a tile if they don’t have to create one visually.
The unveiling of the completed quilt is set for August 2nd.
