The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is celebrating Black History Month in February with an afternoon of presentations and discussion on Black history.
On February 3rd from 1-3pm the museum will welcome guest speaks with attendees also hearing untold stories of early Black settlement in Bruce County.
The stories will include the contributions, challenges and triumphs of Black residents who have played a significant role in shaping the community’s heritage.
Attendees will also see a present day perspective covering the County’s growing diversity through lived experiences of members of the Black community and learn more about the importance of inclusivity and understanding.
