Amanda Froese is moving on to work for the County of Bruce.
She has accepted a job at the County as their new Director of Transportation and Environmental Services.
Froese was the Director of Infrastructure and Development Services with the Town of Saugeen Shores the last five years.
She takes over from Miguel Pelletier who is retiring.
In a news release, Froese will be tasked to carry out the recently approved Master Transportation Plan which aims to create a safe and reliable transportation system to meet the needs of all residents, visitors, and businesses.
She will also help in the development of a Climate Change Action Plan, update the Waste Management Master Plan, and help the County respond to the challenges of COVID-19.
Froese’s first day will be on February 14th.
