The Special Olympics named their roster of 110 athletes and 46 coaches that will join the training squad in preparation to possibly represent Canada at the 2022 Special Olympics World Winter Games set for Kazan, Russia.
Locally 2 skates made the roster including figure skaters Brooke Thomas and Rosemary Laideler both of Kincardine.
The 2022 Special Olympics World Winter Games are set for January 21st to 27th, 2023.
