The Bruce County Paramedic Services issued thanks today to the Bervie Women’s Insrtitute for a recent generous donation that will be stored in the County Ambulances.

The donated 32 fidget muffs and quilts will be used in support of Alzheimer’s and dementia patients when the Paramedics are out in the community.

Paramedic Services says that at their 2019 paramedic training with the Alzheimer’s Society it was identified that items such as what was donated would help those suffering from dementia.

They say they are honoured that the Institute once again thought of them and their patients.

The group last donated small blankets and teddy bears for pediatric patients served by the Bruce County Paramedic Services.
