Bruce County repeated a reminder to residents and visitors heading to the Teeswater Area of the River Bridge replacement project currently on that began in May.

The existing bridge will be closed from July 1st until the end of August for construction.

The temporary bridge is expected to be completed by then when it will connect Goldie Street and Church Street over the Teeswater River.

It will detour motorists and pedestrians.

Signage will be in place to inform of the detour.

The businesses in Paisley remain open and are and will be fully accessible.

The bridge project will also include work by the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie on Queen Street North of the Bridge.

This includes water mains, sanitary, storm sewers, sidewalk rehabilitation, and road paving.
