Bruce County’s Kings Day Tournament was a Resounding Success After 2 Year Hiatus

The Kings had an impressive 9 and 1 record through 10 games mostly from teams from the Blue Thunder program.

The Bruce County Kings announced today that their recent Kings Day was a resounding success.

The tournament returned to the area after a two year hiatus.

The Kings had an impressive 9 and 1 record through 10 games mostly from teams form the Collingwood Blue Thunder program.

The 2010 team played Forte Hockey out of London and the 2009 team played a team out of Huron County entitled the Maitland Ice Sharks.

The King’s Executive thanked arena staff for their patience throughout the day as well as the Municipality for allowing the ice to remain in the area until Sunday which permitted the event to run.

The Old Stars and Bulldogs also were generous they said allowing their respective dressing rooms to be used throughout the day.
