The Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board provided an update on the impact that a possible full withdrawal of service by CUPE could have on area catholic schools.

In the press release the boards says CUPE has announced a full withdrawal of services as of this Monday, November 21st unless a negotiated settlement is reached prior to that date.

They say that if that happens it would impact around 420 permanent & casual employees, or 41% of their staff.

The Board says that if the strike happens schools will close to students.

They say students will receive asynchronous lessons for Monday with synchronous learning set to begin on Tuesday, November 22nd.
